Short hair definitely has its advantages. For one, it is usually cut and styled in such a way that it requires little to no maintenance. You can simply wash your hair and let the wind dry it on your way to work and it will still look beautiful. You also don't have to buy various accessories such as pins and hair ties to pull the hair from your face to make you appear and feel fresher throughout the day. Long hair can trap heat, especially if it is not tied back. During these hot summer days, long hair would definitely seem impractical.
